Website Analytics, Cookies and Tracking Tools

When you visit this website we use Google Tag Manager to load our measurement tags and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and referring source). Our contact and career forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and automated submissions; reCAPTCHA reads browser and interaction signals to tell people from bots. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device. A cookie notice on the site lets you accept or decline optional analytics cookies, and your choice is saved on your device and applied on your return visits. Strictly necessary cookies that keep the site working cannot be turned off.

Your Privacy Choices

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Categories of personal information we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers and contact details (name, phone number, email address, service address); commercial information (the services you request, appointment and service history); internet and device activity gathered by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, referring source); and the details you choose to put in a form message or tell us on a call. We collect this information directly from you and automatically through the tools described above. We use it to schedule and perform service, respond to requests, send the messages you ask for, operate and secure the website, and understand how the site is used.

Sale and sharing. Chilly Billy Heating & Cooling does not sell your personal information for money. Under California law, "sharing" means disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager receive device and usage data from your browser when optional analytics cookies are allowed. You have the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, and the controls below are how you exercise it.

How to opt out. (1) Use the on-site choice: select "Manage cookie preferences" below and turn off analytics cookies, or choose "Reject optional" when the cookie notice appears. (2) Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser or a GPC extension. We honor GPC as a valid opt-out request: when your browser sends the signal, we automatically withhold advertising-related data signals without any further action from you. (3) Contact us using the details below.

Your rights. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request that we delete it; to request that we correct inaccurate information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

How to make a request. Call 407-557-7935 or email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request." We will verify your identity using the contact information on file and respond within the time required by law, normally within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep service records, appointment history, and the messages you send us for as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties, meet tax and licensing obligations, and resolve disputes. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of our Google Analytics 4 property. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

Who Receives Your Information

We share information with the service providers that help us run the business, such as scheduling, messaging, email, and website hosting providers, and with Google for the analytics and spam-protection tools described above. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our customers and employees, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
